i sort of want it to be winter
but not for the cold, the bitterness
the stalled cars in the middle of a busy street,
the desperation of a couple drags of a smoke as your fingers fall off.
but i want it to be winter for the beauty of the first few weeks,
before it gets all brown-like.
because i need a new outlook on photographs,
